DIASPORAS, A DIALOGUE BETWEEN STÉPHANE DUFOIX AND IAN MANOOK
Diasporas are classically defined as exiles who share a collective memory, religion and cultural practices, and are linked to their homeland, whether real or imagined. Today, diasporas are a major and complex migratory phenomenon, and the library's latest thematic selection reflects this.
On 12 October 2023 we invite Stéphane Dufoix, political scientist and sociologist, and Patrick Manoukian/Ian Manook, writer, to share their views on diasporas and the resources made available by the library. The discussion will be moderated by Odile Gaultier-Voituriez, head of the archives department at the Sciences Po library, PhD in history and lecturer.
Access to the thematic selection
date: 12 October at 5pm
location: General Library lobby in Saint-Thomas
